Security, privacy and terms

Just Larps is a research site. It publishes findings about cryptocurrency rug-pull operators. It never asks you for money, credentials, or permission to move your funds. This page states that plainly, and sets out what we hold, what we publish, and how to challenge it.

What Just Larps will never ask you for

There is no situation, ever, in which Just Larps will ask you for any of the following. If a site, message, or person claiming to be Just Larps asks for one of these, it is not us.

Your seed phrase, private key, or recovery words. Nobody at Just Larps will ever ask for these, for any reason, including support.
A password. Just Larps has no passwords. There is nothing to phish.
A payment, deposit, transfer, or gas fee. Access is free. We never request funds.
A token approval, allowance, or spend permission. The app never requests one.
A transaction of any kind. The app never asks you to sign a transaction, only a plain-text login message.
Software to install. No extension, no wallet, no download. If your browser has no wallet, we tell you to use one that already does. We never point you at an installer.
An airdrop, claim, mint, or migration. We do not run any of these. Every one you see claiming otherwise is fraudulent.

The only official addresses for this project are justlarps.fun, app.justlarps.fun, docs.justlarps.fun, t.me/justlarpsfun and x.com/justlarpsfun. Treat anything else as an impersonation, no matter how closely it resembles this site.

What signing actually does

To open a member account, the app asks your wallet to sign a short text message. This is the whole of the wallet interaction, and it is worth being precise about what it is and is not.

It is a signature over plain text, not a transaction. It is the same mechanism as "Sign in with Ethereum".
It cannot move, spend, approve, or access any token, coin, or NFT in your wallet. A message signature has no such power.
It costs nothing. No gas, no network fee, no on-chain record.
It proves one thing only: that you control the address you are logging in with.
The message contains a single-use code that expires shortly after it is issued, so a signature cannot be replayed.

If a signing prompt from anything calling itself Just Larps shows you a transaction, an approval, or a request to spend a token, reject it and leave. It is not us.

What this site is

Just Larps documents the people who repeatedly launch and abandon cryptocurrency tokens. We work from public information: public posts on X, public follow relationships, and public on-chain records. We publish a finding when the evidence supports it, and we keep the evidence after the accounts involved delete it.

The method is documented openly at docs.justlarps.fun. Each published finding carries the specific evidence it rests on, so a reader can judge it rather than take our word for it.

Nothing on this site is financial advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Findings describe past conduct. They are not predictions.

Who runs it

Just Larps is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any exchange, launchpad, blockchain foundation, or token issuer, including any platform named anywhere on this site. It does not act for any of the people or projects it writes about.

Privacy

What we hold about a member. When you create an account we store the wallet address you signed with, a session record for that login, and the account state you create by using the app: your watchlist, your invite codes, and any notification channel you choose to connect. If you connect a Discord webhook or link a Telegram account for alerts, we store the identifier needed to deliver those alerts to you.

What we never collect. We do not collect or store passwords, seed phrases, private keys, payment card details, or government identity documents. We do not ask for your name, your postal address, or your phone number. We do not sell data to anyone, and we do not run third-party advertising or advertising trackers.

Research data. Separately from member accounts, the project archives public information about the accounts and projects it studies: public posts, public profile details, public follow relationships, and public blockchain records. This is collected from public sources. It is the substance of the research, and it is what allows a finding to survive the deletion of the evidence behind it.

Deletion. You can ask us to delete your member account and the data attached to it, using any contact route below. Archived public research material is not member data and is retained as a record, but see the corrections section for how to challenge anything published about you.

Access is provided as-is, with no warranty and no guarantee of availability. Features may change or stop.
Nothing published here is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
Findings describe conduct we have evidence for. They are statements about what has happened, not accusations of any specific criminal offence, and not a prediction of what any person will do next.
Do not use this site to harass, threaten, or endanger anyone. Publishing a finding is not an invitation to do any of that, and we will say so publicly whenever it happens.
Do not scrape, resell, or republish the database wholesale. Cite and link instead.
Holding the project token grants access to features. It is not an investment, carries no promise of profit, entitles the holder to no share of revenue or ownership, and confers no governance rights.

Corrections and right of reply

We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do we want to fix it quickly and visibly.

If you are named on this site and believe a finding is wrong, contact us through any route below. Tell us which finding, and what specifically is inaccurate. We will review the underlying evidence. If a finding is wrong we correct or remove it and say that we did. If it stands, we will tell you which evidence it rests on, and we will publish a statement from you alongside it if you want one.

We treat this as an obligation, not a courtesy. A project that names people has to be reachable by the people it names.
